Registrations when also registered with SHS and ASHA
To Register a Purebred Shire – Female - that is fully registered with the Shire Horse Society:

The Application for Registration form must be completed in full.

Enclose the original SHS Registration papers with the stamped Transfer Certificate that certifies the applicant is the registered owner.

Enclose a copy of the DNA Certificate with Parentage Verification.

The fee of $50 for Members or $60 for Non-Members must be enclosed with the Registration, or use the PayPal option below at the end of this section.
To Register a Purebred Shire – Female – that is fully registered with the American Shire Horse Association:

The Application for Registration form must be completed in full.

The Certificate of Identification must be completed and signed by a Veterinarian. The completed form may be scanned and emailed to the Registrar by the Veterinarian’s Office.

Enclose a copy of the ASHA Registration and Transfer of Ownership that certifies the applicant is the registered owner.

Enclose a copy of the DNA Certificate with Parentage Verification.

To Register a Purebred Shire – Stallion - that is fully registered with the Shire Horse Society:

The Application for Registration form must be completed in full.

Stallions with SHS registration papers, who have been previously examined by a Veterinarian and approved will not require a second Veterinary inspection.

Enclose a copy of the DNA Certificate with Parentage Verification.

To Register a Purebred Shire – Stallion - that is fully registered with American Shire Horse Association:

The Application for Registration form must be completed in full.

The Certificate of Identification must be completed and signed by a Veterinarian. The completed form may be scanned and emailed to the Registrar by the Veterinarian’s Office.

The CSHA Veterinarian Stallion Inspection form must be printed, completed and signed by a Veterinarian. The completed form may be scanned and emailed to the Registrar by the Veterinarian’s office. All Colts must be inspected by a qualified Veterinarian to ensure they comply with the “Breed Standard”, prior to being issued a Stallion Registration. Please provide a copy of the Breed Standard and FEI Identification of Horses to your Veterinarian.
